Each virtual care visit is different, depending on your child’s condition. Wait and care times are generally shorter than an in-office visit.
Medical emergencies, seizures, and serious chronic conditions typically require an in-person evaluation, and we don’t recommend seeking out our telehealth care services for these circumstances.
With Insurance
Most health plans will cover telehealth services, depending on your benefits. Some plans cover telehealth visits if they’re held on pre-approved video platforms.
Others cover telehealth with third-party providers. Medicare and Medicaid have expanded their telehealth and telemedicine coverage.
Medicare will pay for office, hospital, and other visits with a wide range of providers, such as doctors, nurse practitioners, and licensed social workers.
Just like any doctor’s visit, you will be responsible for any co-pays l, deductibles, or co-insurance.
Without Insurance
A Hello Pediatrics consultation with a pediatrician is typically less expensive than in-person urgent care or emergency room visit.
