What is pediatric telehealth?

Pediatric telehealth provides clinical care to children without an in-person office visit. Through your phone, computer, or tablet, you can speak with a pediatrician who can evaluate your child’s current medical issue and provide expert diagnosis and treatment
recommendations.

When should I come to Hello Pediatrics?

Hello Pediatrics is designed to complement the care given by your child’s pediatrician. We are integrated with most primary care providers and offer a convenient, streamlined telehealth alternative to emergency room or urgent care visits for children who need
to be seen when their pediatrician is unavailable, free chat service to text directly with a pediatrician, and Behavioral Health therapy.

How much does Hello Pediatrics cost?

Medical:

Most health plans, including both private insurance and Medicaid, will cover telehealth services. Just like any doctor’s visit, you will be responsible for any co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance. Without insurance, a Hello Pediatrics consultation will cost you a low
rate of $49 per visit.

What age patients do you treat?

For medical visits, we provide care for any child through 21, including infants. For behavioral health visits, we provide care for any
child ages 6-21 years of age.

How does Hello Pediatrics work with your pediatrician?

After a virtual care visit, our clinicians send a detailed summary to your pediatrician, so they can have a complete medical record for
your child and request follow-up care, if needed.

How is Hello Pediatrics different from an ER or urgent care visit?

Hello Pediatrics is focused on caring for children in the comfort of their homes through after-hours telehealth care. Our services are
often less expensive and more efficient than a trip to the emergency room or urgent care facility.

Do I need a referral from my pediatrician?

Because we are a local pediatric telehealth provider who partners with your pediatrician, you do not need a referral from your
pediatrician to use our services.

How long will my visit take?

Each virtual care visit is different, depending on your child’s condition. Wait and care times are generally shorter than an in-office
visit.

Can Hello Pediatrics write school notes or absence notes?

Yes! We can write doctor’s notes and absence letters as necessary after your child has been seen by one of our providers.

Can Hello Pediatrics prescribe medications like antibiotics?

Yes, Hello Pediatrics’ Pediatricians are able to write prescriptions and send them to your preferred pharmacy when it is deemed
medically appropriate.

Does Hello Pediatrics accept insurance?

Yes, Hello Pediatrics partners with most health plans to make medical visits more accessible. Register online to view plan

Do you provide treatment in other languages?

Yes, interpretation services are offered by Hello Pediatrics for all visit types and treatment.
