
Dr. Abbott
Dr. Katherine Abbott is pleased to be a part of the Hello Pediatrics team. She is the senior partner at Crestwood Pediatric Associates in the Northern Virginia area. She has over 30 years of experience in general pediatrics. She has been listed in the Washingtonian Top Doctors articles almost every year since 2005. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She did her residency at the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, DC and went to medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She and her husband have raised 6 children, 2 of which have gone on to pursue medical careers of their own. In all aspects of her life, she is devoted to children and their wellbeing.

Dr. Hancock
Dr. Yolandra Hancock has received degrees from the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) and John Hopkins, Bloomberg School of Public Health, along with a medical residency at the acclaimed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
With over 14 years of medical clinical experience, Dr. Hancock would eventually discover her calling to provide care and guidance to those who needed her help most: youth and families residing in under-served urban communities.
Today, she is the Medical Director of CRC Health & Wellness Group and the Founder of Delta Health & Wellness Consulting.

Dr. Patel
Dr. Patel is the Lead Physician at Hello Pediatrics. She completed her Pediatric Residency at VCU medical center and joined Hello Pediatrics in 2022. Prior to that she obtained a doctorate from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a bachelor’s from Virginia Commonwealth University in Biomedical Engineering. Her practice interests include well-child care, preventive care, newborn care, and telemedicine. She enjoys spending time with friends and family while exploring new places for an adventure. Her objective is to cultivate a setting where a collaborative approach among team members is highly valued when it comes to making shared decisions about the care and handling of patients.
